In days of old, this wine used to be supplied to Kings. Still regal today!
Burnished gold wine, beautifully aromatic and very delineated with note of roses, stone fruits such as peach, apricots and poached pears in honey and sugar coated roasted pecan nuts (some botrytis). Perfectly balanced with a fresh lift that prevents the unctuous mouthfeel to fell weighty; as it stands it caresses the palate instead and you get these perfectly ripe apricots, the quintessence of the apricot fruit that is so hard to find when you bite into a fresh one… Long lingering with an almond feel and an apricot return complete this elegant wine which delivers oodles of fruit. Splendid!
